For college coeds with mental disabilities, why would it be overwhelming to them to fail a class? For college coeds with mental disabilities at moderate to high functioning levels, why would it be overwhelming for them to fail a test / exam in their subject class? The negative results (results showing a failing grade) would throw them into an anxious (sometimes emotional and anger/frustration) loop. When they want to get out of one class 'cause they would pass their subject not because they were too old in College, even when they failed a tiny bit. They would hate being called dumb by other coeds. When they feel that everybody's right that they are dumb, it gets upsetting for them.
Did you know anybody with a disability attending college who experienced a similar situation? |
| Why would it be overwhelming (or not,) for anyone? Everyone hates being called dumb, with or without disabilities. So, let's look at this from a non-specific point of view... College can be a very competitive place, and, unlike lower grades, "authorities" are not likely to insist that everyone (students and teachers!) "play nice". This is a recognized problem for neurologically typical, able-bodied, "normal" students: that's what the counselors are all about. Those same services are (or legally, should be) available to everyone. |
College coeds only: Do you ever tease guys with your feet? You know how many guys like women's feet |
| I've been told I have nice feet, but I've never done anything to tease a guy with them |
Why does "girls gone wild" call their all female cast "sexy college coeds" when coed means both boys and girls am i missing something? |
You will notice that most dictionary definitions (see source below) apply the term "co-ed" to women specificially.
Think about the history of higher education for a minute. It wasn't always the case that women were admitted into universities -- higher studies were for men only. Or, a female enrolled was a rarity.
When it started to become more common for women to enroll in universities, universities for the first time became "co-educational." It was the women who brought this status to the universities, so they themselves were termed as the "co-eds," not the men. It was a way as defining them as the "others." There were students (men), and there were co-eds (women).
A bit sexist, perhaps, but this term is still very much alive and used today. |
How can I find a good looking girl at college to let me give her a pedicure? I love female feet and going to class every day I see about 1000 perfectly pedicured feet. Very frustrating. How can I find a hot college coed to let me paint her toes? |
| Omg! You have foot fetish! Try posting and handing out flyers that you'll give free pedicures or something. |
Do college coed cheerleading squads only take right leg flyers? I've been flying four four years and have always flown on my left leg, I'm more flexible on the side and it just feels sooo much more comfortable. I was told by a college down south I had all the potential it would take, I just need to get that right leg. But I can't pull anything on that leg no matter how much I stretch! I can't even pull a scorp! |
| Usually, stunts are done on the right legged. Its good that you are comfortable flying on your left leg because you will have stronger tick-tocks and will be at an advantage for pyramids. However, the standard is to go up on your right leg so I would suggest to keep working on it. Flexibility doesn't come over night so with a little determination, you have the potential to be a very versatile flyer. Good Luck! |
How much does the average college cheerleader weigh(flyers)? I'm only a sophomore in high school but I've been told I have the perfect college coed body and I was just curious. |
my cousin is a flyer it U.T And she weighs about 114
most of the flyers weigh around 100-120 thats what she told me :)
im also a sphomore and alsoo a flyer :) |

Because liberals rule Congress right now.
That ends when we vote them out in November.

Overweight guy invited to college coed lingerie party? Tons of hot girls will be there, no shirts allowed for guys, and I have man boobs. It's in two weeks, and I just found out today. I'm cutting out all my carbs, adding protein, and working out like a *****. Is there ANY advice any of y'all can give me regarding losing weight super fast besides bulemia and anorexia. Thanks. |
| Don't waste your time with superficial activities like this. It's not where you'll find happiness. As for losing weight in time to not be embarrassed, that's just not realistic. I don't know how overweight you are, but I am somewhat overweight myself. It would take a few months of really hard work for me to be comfortable in a scene like that. I've never been able to do it. You need to realize these things don't matter though. You don't need to worry about pleasing other people and fitting in. Do whatever makes you happy and surround yourself by people who are ok with that. The type of people who go to things like this will NOT lead a happy fulfilling life no matter what they tell you. |
I am going to a college with coed bathrooms.? I am going to a college with coed bathrooms. I want to know from both girls and boys. Is it weird knowing that you are showering or using the toilet knowing that someone of the opposite gender is in that same bathroom? |
| Me too! I thought it'd be a little odd at first, but after visiting, the freshmen I stayed with told me the awkwardness goes away quickly :) |
